Our last day before Christmas break was our Polar Express Day. We boarded the 'train', got our tickets punched and drank hot chocolate as thick and rich as melted chocolate bars, complete with marshmallows
and whipping cream! We sang Christmas songs and watched the Polar Express movie. We even got our response letters back from Santa delivered to us by one of Santa's helpers! It was a great way to end before going home for Christmas. It's a good thing this first grade kiddos have all been on the good list this year!
